Description

This White Cheddar Ranch Chex Mix is a homemade variation of the classic that is packed with ranchy cheddar flavor! It is addictingly good – the perfect snack for summer poolside or beach snacking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Crispix cereal
  • 2 cups mini pretzels or sticks (I like using the Dot’s brand for extra flavor)
  • 2 cups white cheddar Cheez-Its crackers
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (I like cashews and peanuts)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 packet dried ranch seasoning (or 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill, very finely chopped
  • 2 cups white cheddar popcorn

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cereals, pretzels, Cheez-Its, and nuts, mixing to combine.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and then stir in the ranch seasoning, garlic salt, kosher salt, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh dill.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir to evenly coat everything.
  5. Spread the cereal mixture out in an even layer on the baking sheet and transfer to the oven.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes, or until the mixture is lightly golden and toasty.
  7. Remove from the oven and then gently stir in the white cheddar popcorn.
  8. Allow to cool completely on the tray before serving. Leftovers will keep in an airtight container for up to one week.
