Description

This Hot Honey Buffalo Chicken Dip is a sweet and spicy take on a classic recipe. Tangy, creamy, spicy, a touch sweet, and loaded with flavor – this dip will be a crowd pleaser for sure! Perfect for the big game.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened (I use reduced fat and cannot tell the difference)
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup buffalo hot sauce (I like Frank’s)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded (Rotisserie chicken works great here)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • Additional honey, for serving
  • Chopped scallions, for serving
  • Chips, crackers, or veggies, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the ranch, hot sauce, and honey, stirring until everything is smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the garlic salt, chicken, and half of the cheese, mixing until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish or an ovenproof skillet and top with the remaining half of the cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is gooey and bubbly around the edges.
  6. Garnish with chopped scallions and another drizzle of honey, ranch, or hot sauce just before serving.
