Air-Fryer Buffalo Brussels Sprouts

  • Author: Molly

Description

These Air-Fryer Buffalo Brussels Sprouts are an addicting buffalo-style vegetable that will make you forget all about chicken wings! These get super crispy in the air fryer and are tossed with buffalo sauce, blue cheese, scallions, and ranch dressing. They are quick, easy, and only use a handful of ingredients! They’re perfect for the big game or anytime you’re looking to switch up your veggies!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved (quartered if very large)
  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • Blue cheese crumbles
  • Chopped scallions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Prep your brussels sprouts while you wait for the air fryer to heat up.
  2. When the air fryer is heated, place the brussels sprouts in the basket, drizzle with the oil, and sprinkle the salt, garlic salt, and pepper evenly over them.
  3. Give the basket a shake to evenly distribute the oil and seasonings and then air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket at the halfway mark. Every air fryer is different, so I recommend checking them halfway and then again around the 10-minute mark. Adjust the cooking time to your preference. We love them very crispy and charred, so we go the full 15 minutes.
  4. While the brussels are frying, make your buffalo sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan (or in a bowl in the microwave). Whisk the buffalo hot sauce into the melted butter.
  5. Place the crispy brussels sprouts on a serving dish and drizzle with as much or as little of the buffalo sauce as you like. I also like to serve some on the side for dunking. Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing and sprinkle over blue cheese crumbles and chopped scallions just before serving. If blue cheese isn’t your thing, feel free to leave it out.
