Hi, friends! I’m bringing back my weekly faves. It’s something that I cut out a few months ago because I am always fighting against the clock. Between working, being a mom/wife/friend/sister/daughter, and running this blog, I found that I was running out of time to do these types of posts. It bummed me out.
A few weeks ago, however, I was lucky enough to snag a spot in Jessica’s Brunchshop (Hi, nice to meet you. I’m a total fangirl.), and I left completely re-energized and inspired. Inspired to do better. Inspired to do more. And to ENJOY the process along the way. My personality can be my best asset and my worst enemy, and channeling my go-getter, type-A tendencies into success is what I need to do. Putting aside the self doubt and the frustrations is one of my biggest challenges. If I hit a small snag along the way, I am instantly over whatever it is I’m trying to accomplish. It’s not good.
So! To challenge myself a bit more and to share my love for people that truly inspire me, I’m bringing back the faves! It just makes sense…because, hey, my love of other food blogs is what started me on this whole journey in the first place.
OK, enough rambling! What are you guys up to this weekend? We have a wedding to attend and lots of spring cleaning on our list. All good things. I’m actually really looking forward to freshening things up and purging some of the clutter. Love spring!!!
Here’s what I’m loving right.this.minute.
This Cold Brew Coffee — um, probably the prettiest coffee I’ve ever seen. Definitely trying this when the weather heats up.
This Middle Eastern Spatchcocked Roast Chicken – yes! Spatchcocking is such a great method for chicken, and I love this spiced-up version.
These Brown Butter Rhubarb Cream Cheese Muffins — not only are they gorgeous but they make my mouth water!
These Hawaiian Chicken Fajitas — I love pineapple in savory dishes, and this one is happening this weekend!
This Lemon Brioche Pull-Apart Bread – seriously, all my lemon dreams in one bite.
This round-up of easy weeknight dinners – easy, simple meals are my lifeline right now. I’m all over this.
These Strawberry Tuxedo and Almond Crunch Chocolate Pudding Parfaits look so delicious (and cute to boot!)
These Japanese Dirty Tator Tots – a weekend snack that needs to happen. Immediately.
This Charred Corn Guacamole looks like the perfect accompaniment to some margs.
Oh, and ’round these parts? We’ve got an epic Short Rib Burger, some Brussels & Chorizo Hash, and a lovely round-up of salads (including my Cherry Caprese, which I cannot WAIT to make again once cherries are back in season).
Happy Friday, friends! XOXO
