Hi, friends! It’s Friday! How was your week? Any fun plans for the weekend? Are you dressing up for Halloween?
We have a wedding on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday, which I am so pumped for. Kieran is staying at his grandmother’s house and will have a blast in our absence, I’m sure. On Monday, actual Halloween, Dan and I are planning to take Kieran around the neighborhood to trick or treat, even though we’re both aware that he’s still too young to really “get” it. But it will be fun to dress him up in his tiger costume (second year in a row, folks!) and take him around for a little bit regardless. So fun!
This is the first Friday Faves in awhile, thanks to some annoying server issues last week. All is right again, though, and I’m here to tell you about the genius of my peers. They’re so smart and creative. I often have that “how did I not think of that?!” feeling when perusing other blogs, filled with a mix of awe and admiration. Take a look at these links when you get a chance, perhaps over your Saturday morning coffee. They are amazing!
Starting off with this pasta topped with GRILLED CHEESE BREADCRUMBS. Um. Seriously?
These almost raw brownies with maple ganache look insane. Maple syrup in ganache?! Love it.
Now, these pumpkin spiced beignets are definitely a pumpkin spice treat I can get behind. OMG, yes.
This slow-cooker lasagna soup is soooo happening. Comfort food at it’s finest!
Aren’t these mini veggie pot pies just the cutest?!
This chocolate beet bundt cake is so perfect for Halloween! Look at that glaze! So fun.
These white chocolate marble dipped cookies are so adorable! I might try these with Kieran soon!
Ummm, this prosciutto and gruyere stuffed pork with brown sugar carrots looks like dinner perfection!
I am so obsessed with the idea of farro fried rice with brussels sprouts. I adore farro but do not use it enough. This is happening.
These pumpkin butter pop tarts look so fun! Love that glaaaaaze.
This roasted pumpkin with dukkah, yogurt, and fried bread looks like the perfect bowl of comfort.
What did I tell ya? So much good stuff this week. Oh, and in case you missed it, I shared this crazy-good churro french toast bake with mexican chocolate sauce and these light and delicious banh mi bowls! Both should go into your “make ASAP” pile…well…ASAP.
Happy Friday, friends! Xoxo.
