This White Cheddar Ranch Chex Mix is a homemade variation of the classic that is packed with ranchy cheddar flavor! It is addictingly good – the perfect snack for summer poolside or beach snacking!

I love a summer snack. Especially one that can easily be enjoyed on the beach or by the pool.
This White Cheddar Ranch Chex Mix is just the thing! It has a little something for everyone.

Homemade Chex mix of any kind is far superior to the version you can buy at the store. I don’t know what it is, but the flavors and textures are so much better when you make it yourself.
If you haven’t tried it at home yet, I urge you to give it a go! It is extremely easy. The hardest part is waiting for it to cool!

This version features two of my top flavors: ranch and white cheddar. Swoon! It is addictive.
This recipe uses some of the standards for Chex mix:
Chex cereal, nuts, and pretzels. I’ve added in some ranch seasoning, white cheddar Cheez-Its, seasoned pretzel sticks, and white cheddar popcorn for some more oomph.
Also, Crispix cereal! A nostalgic taste of my childhood. And it works perfectly here!
Let’s get into how to make this tangy-cheesy snack!

Ingredients You Need to Make This White Cheddar Ranch Chex Mix:
- Corn Chex cereal
- Rice Chex cereal
- Crispix cereal
- Mini pretzels or sticks (I like using the Dot’s brand for extra flavor)
- White cheddar Cheez-Its crackers
- Mixed nuts (I like cashews and peanuts)
- Unsalted butter
- Dried ranch seasoning
- Garlic salt
- Kosher salt
- Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh dill, very finely chopped
- White cheddar popcorn

How to Make This White Cheddar Ranch Chex Mix:
- Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cereals, pretzels, Cheez-Its, and nuts, mixing to combine.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and then stir in the ranch seasoning, garlic salt, kosher salt, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh dill.
- Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir to evenly coat everything.
- Spread the cereal mixture out in an even layer on the baking sheet and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes, or until the mixture is lightly golden and toasty.
- Remove from the oven and then gently stir in the white cheddar popcorn.
- Allow to cool completely on the tray before serving. Leftovers will keep in an airtight container for up to one week.

This truly is my ideal summer snack. All that’s missing is the pool and an ice cold drink!
