This Bang Bang Shrimp Dip is a spicy-sweet sensation bursting with shrimp and creamy goodness. Think your favorite restaurant appetizer in hot dip form. Easy to make and incredibly delicious – this is a crowd-pleasing appetizer for sure!
It is dip season! At least, I associate dips and appetizers with this time of year. I can’t be the only one.
This Bang Bang Shrimp Dip is my newest creation and it is SO. DANG. GOOD.
Like so many, I adore anything “bang bang” style, specifically bang bang shrimp a la Bonefish Grill. There have been millions of takes on that recipe alone, not to mention tons and tons of recipes using the flavors as a base for other things.
I adore bang bang sauce, and I love a hot seafood dip. So! I decided to create a dip that combined those two things. That, my friends, is how we have this recipe for Bang Bang Shrimp Dip.
It came out even better than I was hoping. It’s sweet and spicy, creamy, and tangy, and loaded with tender bites of shrimp. Gah. It’s so good.
Bonus: it’s actually really easy to make and could totally be prepped ahead of time! Which makes it doubly perfect for holiday parties and gatherings.
