These Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martinis are the cocktail for the season! Your favorite seasonal coffee shop drink meets boozy martini. It doesn’t get much better than that! This one is extra easy — no simple syrup required. Cheers! ‘Tis the season!

I have such a fun festive cocktail to discuss today! ‘Tis the season!

Just like everyone else, I’ve been very into the espresso martini trend as of late. The thing is? I’ve been drinking them for YEAAAARRS — much longer than they’ve been trendy.

Over the years, Dan and I have perfected our own at-home version, and I’ve even shared a few fun twists on the classic on this site over the years.

The next rendition: Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martinis!

It’s like your favorite coffee shop drink meets boozy martini. Truly, there might not be anything better.

While I definitely do not imbibe like I used to (I’m a boring “one glass of wine every now and then” gal these days), when I am feeling festive or fancy, an espresso martini always fits the bill.

This version is really easy – no simple syrup required! And if you’re a cocktail connoisseur, you very well may have all the ingredients on hand already.

Ingredients You Need to Make These Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martinis:

  • Ice
  • Brewed espresso (very strong coffee or even cold brew will work)
  • Vodka
  • Kahlua liqueur (or any coffee liqueur you prefer)
  • Godiva chocolate liqueur (or any chocolate liqueur you prefer)
  • Peppermint schnapps
  • Chocolate syrup and candy canes — optional garnishes

How to Make These Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martinis:

  • Start with a shaker full of ice.
  • Add the espresso, vodka, and liqueurs and shake vigorously to mix and chill all the ingredients.
  • Rim your martini glasses by dipping them in a little chocolate syrup and crushed candy canes (this is totally optional but very fun).
  • Strain the martini into the glasses and enjoy immediately while cold.

Other Recipes You Might Enjoy:

  • Pistachio Espresso Martinis
  • Spiced Chocolate Espresso Martini with Cinnamon Whipped Cream
  • Espresso Bourbon Fizz
  • Amaretto Orange White Russians
  • Root Beer White Russians

I love a good espresso martini. And I LOVE peppermint mochas this time of year. This combo satisfies all cravings in one delicious libation.

Perfect for holiday parties or trimming the tree!

Cheers!
