These Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie Butter Treats are a sinfully delicious cereal treat full of sweet cinnamon flavor and cookie butter! A fun treat that taste as good as (if not better than) they sound!
It has been a minute since I’ve posted a new recipe! Life has been busy, to say the least, and I’ve been prioritizing some other things lately.
Don’t worry, though! The wait was worth it. These Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie Butter Treats are one of the most divine sweet treats to come out of my kitchen. EVER.
They are everything.
Gooey and sweet, just like cereal treats should be, but with the flavor turned way up in the way of cinnamon toast crunch cereal and cookie butter! Oh yes. This combo was meant to be.
If you’re a huge fan of cinnamon toast crunch cereal (aka, my husband) OR cookie butter (aka, me), you must try these out. The flavors just go together so incredibly well. We are obsessed!
These are spiced and sweet with just chock-full of deliciousness. AND just like any other cereal treat recipe, this one is extremely easy! Minimal cooking required (absolutely no baking); the hardest part is waiting long enough for them to set.
Other than that, they come together in minutes with very little effort.
My kind of dessert!
Ingredients You Need to Make These Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie Butter Treats:
- Unsalted butter
- Mini marshmallows
- Vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon
- Salt
- Cookie butter (I prefer Biscoff or Trader Joe’s brands)
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
How to Make These Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie Butter Treats:
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish liberally with cooking spray (alternatively, for thicker treats, you can use an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan). Line the pan with parchment paper and liberally spray the paper as well.
- These come together quickly, so it is best to have all the components prepped and ready to go before you begin.
- Place a large pot over medium heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted, add the 16-oz bag of mini marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows are completely melted and then mix in the vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir in the cookie butter and mix until completely melted and incorporated.
- Remove the pan from the heat and then stir in the cereal, mixing quickly while everything is still warm. Stir in the remaining 1½ cups of mini marshmallows.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. I find that using damp hands is the easiest way to do this.
- Place the remaining ¼ cup of cookie butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds, stir well, and then repeat until the cookie butter is melted and drizzly..
- Drizzle the melted cookie butter evenly over the top of the treats, and then allow the cereal treats to set for 1 hour. Remove from the pan and cut into squares.
